NATE CALDWELL
Nate co-founded FLM with Shane McCoy in 1999. He is thrilled to see how the company has expanded from the days of a pick-up truck and a lawn mower. Nate is PLANET Certified as a Certified Landscape Technician in Turf Maintenance, is the past President of ALCC's Northern Chapter and was on the state board as Treasurer/Secretary.
Nate was born in Des Moines, Iowa but moved to Colorado Springs as a young child and grew up there until his college years took him to Fort Collins. As a student at Colorado State University, he not only met Shane, but also his wife, Heather. Nate has a one daughter, Ellie, that he has the pleasure of helping coach in softball and spending time outdoors.
Nate's passion in life is fishing and CSU sports. In the summer time, his relaxation after the busy days in the landscape maintenance world, is to take his boat out and fish for whatever comes on the line. He also frequently travels for bass fishing tournaments. When he is not in FLM attire, you will likely find him wearing a CSU shirt and he never misses an opportunity for tailgating or supporting the Rams!
Nate, hands-down, wins the nervous energy award. He paces around the shop like a caged lion on most days and it is extremely difficult to get him to sit still for even one minute.
